Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how DailyShorts (“DailyShorts”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and shares information when you use the dailyshorts.app website, application and API (the “Service”). The data controller is InfiniteQuant Ltd (registered in England and Wales), which operates DailyShorts. You can reach us about any privacy matter at support@dailyshorts.app.
1. Information We Collect
- Account data: your name, email address, and authentication identifiers, including via Google Sign-In if you choose to use it.
- Content data: the prompts, scripts, images, audio and the videos you upload, link or generate, together with the settings for each project.
- Usage data: logs, device and browser information, and product analytics about how you use the Service.
- Billing data: your subscription and credit history. Payments run through Paddle, our Merchant of Record; your card details are collected and stored by Paddle, not by us.
- Connected accounts: OAuth access tokens for the social accounts you link, used only to schedule and publish content on your behalf.
2. How We Use Information
- to provide, operate, secure and improve the Service;
- to generate, schedule and publish the content you request;
- to process payments, prevent fraud and enforce our Terms;
- to send transactional email (for example video-ready notices and receipts) and, where permitted, occasional product updates.
3. Third-Party Processors
We share data with service providers strictly to run the Service, and only the data each one needs. These include Paddle (payments and billing, as our Merchant of Record), Cloudflare R2 (cloud storage for your uploads and generated videos), Google OAuth (optional sign-in and account connection), ElevenLabs (AI voice generation), fal.ai (AI video and image generation), Google Gemini (AI text and content generation), Zernio (publishing to your connected social platforms), and ZeptoMail (transactional email delivery). Your Inputs and Outputs may be transmitted to these AI and publishing providers to deliver the features you use, subject to their terms. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and associated content at any time from Settings → Danger zone; this cascades deletion of your videos, automations, custom voices and social connections. Some records (for example billing records held by Paddle) may be retained where required by law.
5. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can delete your account and content directly in-app at any time; for any other request, contact us using the details below and we will respond as required by applicable law.
6. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in (including your authentication tokens) and to remember basic preferences. Where applicable, we may use limited analytics to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though the Service may not function correctly without the essential ones.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted transport (HTTPS) and hashed passwords. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International Transfers & Children
We and our processors may store and process your data in countries other than your own, with the safeguards required by applicable law in place. The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where a higher age applies), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data; if you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes & Contact
We may update this Policy and will post the new effective date above. For any privacy request or question, contact us at support@dailyshorts.app.
